Remunerations: $46.70 - $50.25+ 12% superannuation
(Salary hourly rate depended on qualification and experience)

Salary packaging: up to $15,900 per year, through Maxxia.

About the Role:

As a Case Manager within the Foster Care, Kinship Care PSP team, you will provide client‑focused casework support to children, young people, families and carers experiencing complex child protection issues. Working in collaboration with key stakeholders, you will provide client-focused casework support the safety,



stability and long‑term permanency outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

As the Case Manager you will:

Deliver client-focused casework support, including maintaining accurate and timely case notes, reports and documentation in line with organisational, legislative and contractual requirements

Engage with children, young people and families to support their participation in assessments, case planning and decision-making

Work collaboratively with families, carers and care teams to address needs, reduce risk and support positive outcomes

Contribute to Cultural Care Planning in partnership with Aboriginal families, kin and community representatives

Build and maintain respectful relationships with parents, families, carers and stakeholders to support placement stability

Support foster and kinship carers to meet the needs of children and young people in their care

Contribute to risk identification, safety planning and case review, escalating concerns as required

Participate in supervision, team processes and operational requirements, including the on‑call roster

Travel Requirements:

This role is based in Moruya and supports clients across a broad region, from Dapto to the Bega Valley. Regular travel within the service area is required for client visits, home visits, and community-based work. Fleet vehicles are available in Moruya, Nowra, and Bega,



with the successful candidate having access to the Moruya fleet vehicle pool for work-related travel.

What you will bring

- A relevant Diploma in Community Services or equivalent.
- Bachelor qualification in Social Work, Psychology, Social Welfare or related discipline is preferred.
- 1–2 years’ experience in Out of Home Care, Child Protection, or Youth and Family services
- Current NSW Working With Children Check (WWCC), Driver’s Licence and First Aid Certificate
- Demonstrated experience using culturally strengths-based approaches with Aboriginal children, families and communities
- Sound knowledge of the Community Services sector, including service systems and referral pathways
- Working knowledge of trauma-informed practice and the impact of trauma and crisis on families
- Ability to identify and respond to child protection concerns, including knowledge of legislation and reporting requirements
- Strong interpersonal and engagement skills with the ability to build effective relationships
- Well-developed written communication skills, including case documentation
- A collaborative approach, with the ability to work under guidance and contribute within a team
