We are seeking an experienced Operations Project Supervisor to lead the delivery of the City's Capital Renewal Program. Reporting to the Operations Coordinator, you will oversee a portfolio of civil and transport infrastructure renewal projects while leading a team of Project Officers and technical staff. This hands‑on leadership role is responsible for project delivery, budget management, procurement, contractor performance and stakeholder engagement, ensuring community infrastructure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

What You'll Be Doing

- Lead the planning, delivery and continuous improvement of the City's Capital Renewal Program, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and to required quality standards.
- Manage project budgets, forecasting, financial reporting and performance monitoring across a portfolio of infrastructure renewal projects.
- Supervise, mentor and support Operations Project Officers and the Civil Engineer, allocating resources and building team capability.
- Coordinate procurement, tendering, contract administration and contractor performance to achieve compliant and value-for-money outcomes.
- Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders, consultants,



contractors and community representatives to deliver roads, transport, drainage and other civil infrastructure renewal projects.

What We're Looking For

- Demonstrated experience delivering civil, roads, transport or infrastructure renewal projects within local government, construction, engineering or similar environments.
- Strong leadership skills with proven experience supervising staff, contractors and consultants to achieve successful project outcomes.
- Sound knowledge of project management, procurement, contract administration and budget management across the full project lifecycle.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to balance competing priorities and manage project risks.
- Tertiary qualifications in Project Management, Engineering or a related discipline, together with a current C Class Driver's Licence and the ability to obtain or hold a current National Police Clearance.
