Therole of the Pharmacy Assistant is to provide exceptional customer care that develops relationships with customers, ensures continued repeat business and the long-term success of the Pharmacy.

In this role you will be required to:

- Greet or acknowledge every customer who enters the store
- Care for customers by recommending appropriate products that will meet their needs
- Approach customers and provide exceptional product information and advice
- Ensurecustomers are informed of the features and benefits of products, detailing instructions on how to use the product
- Support and encourage companion selling to benefit the customer's needs.
- Accept prescriptions
- Provide continuous assistance
- and support to all customer service areas within the store
- Ensure that displays and shelves are clean and tidy and all stock is pulled forward and rotated




- Assist inreplenishing stock , checking out of dates, rotating stock, and general housekeeping
- Be able to multitask and work in a fast paced environment

Qualifications and Knowledge Required:

- Experience working in a Pharmacy/Retail setting is preferred but not essential
- General product knowledge in pharmacy lines
