Gold Medal Accounting is seeking an experienced Senior Tax Accountant to join our friendly team on a part-time basis 2-3 days per week, with flexible working hours in office.

About the Role

The successful applicant will work closely with our accounting team and will be responsible for managing an established portfolio clients.

Duties include

- Conducting face-to-face meetings with individual and business clients




- Preparing and reviewing financial statements and income tax returns
- Tax planning and business advisory services
- Responding to client enquiries by telephone and email
- Assisting clients with taxation and business matters
- Working collaboratively with our experienced accounting team
- Providing practical taxation advice and building long-term client relationships

About You

To be successful you will have:
- Strong knowledge of Australian taxation legislation
- Experience preparing Individual, Company and Trust tax returns
- At least 3 years' Australian public practice accounting experience preferred
- Confidence conducting client meetings independently
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Transparent spoken English
- Experience using Xero (preferred)
- Permanent Australian working rights
- A professional, friendly and client-focused approach
