Senior Transaction Analyst | Sydney | Real Estate Investment The role
As Senior Transaction Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting the execution of acquisitions, disposals, joint ventures and broader investment strategies.
This role suits candidates with 2 to 4 years' experience, ideally from a background in real estate valuation or analytics, who are keen to apply their technical and commercial skills in a fast-paced investment environment.
Working closely with the Head of Transactions and the broader team, you will provide financial modelling, market analysis and due diligence support across live transactions and portfolio initiatives.
Key responsibilities
- Support the evaluation and execution of real estate transactions, including acquisitions, disposals and joint ventures
- Prepare and maintain detailed financial models and sensitivity analyses to support investment decisions
- Conduct market research and benchmarking across the commercial real estate sector
- Provide analytical support through the due diligence process, liaising with internal and external stakeholders including legal, tax,
technical consultants and brokers
- Prepare investment papers, presentations and reporting for internal and external stakeholders
- Support the tracking of pipeline activity and transaction reporting in internal systems
- Collaborate with internal teams across asset management, development and finance to ensure effective execution of transactions
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of transaction processes and analytical tools
About you
- Tertiary qualifications in property, finance, economics or a related field
- 4 -10 years' experience in real estate valuation, investment analytics or corporate finance
- Exposure to property investment or development transactions is desirable
- Robust financial modelling skills in Excel; experience with Forbury or Argus is advantageous
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with excellent attention to detail
