About the opportunity We are looking for an energetic, proactive and brilliantly resourceful Senior Video Producer / Shooter Editor to join the team at Vinyl Media in a hands-on hybrid video role. Reporting to the Director of Content / Creative Production Manager, this role is responsible for planning, running and executing commercial and organic social video projects across the Vinyl Media portfolio of brands and channels. Our ideal candidate will have a wealth of long and short-form video experience, and the skills to multi-task, hit tight turnaround deadlines and work within budgets.
In this role you will own video projects from conception to completion, including producing, shooting and editing. You’re comfortable in front of the camera and behind it, and not afraid to be on-screen talent from time to time. You’ll work closely with project managers,
the content team and other internal and external stakeholders.
Additionally, you’ll support organic video content across the portfolio where required. The role is accountable for what Vinyl Media publishes, how quickly it publishes it, how it performs with audiences, and how sustainably it operates.

Key Responsibilities Being behind the camera on shoots, with the ability to set up lighting and other on-set equipment
Editing video content from end to end and actioning feedback
Ideating video concepts and building detailed video treatments
Planning and attending video shoots, including drawing up production schedules, call sheets and other pre-production paperwork for active and potential projects
Accurately forecasting and managing budgets for video concepts Negotiating costs with suppliers, crews and contractors, and organising allocation of resource and personnel pre-, during and post-shoot
Participating in calls/meetings with internal and external stakeholders where concepts and pitches are discussed and developed
Supporting the Creative Production Manager and fellow producers across production-related tasks,
problem-solving and communicating between inter-departmental teams during the production process Your Experience 6+ years proven experience producing compelling content across wide-ranging production models and formats (social, long-form, narrative-based), with range, expertise and humour
Familiarity with a range of filming techniques and equipment — from social-first setups (iPhones, Rode mics) to premium gear (Canon, Sony, lighting) — plus demonstrable hands-on experience across pre-production, production and post-production workflows, tools and software
Strong proficiency with editing tools spanning the Adobe suite (particularly Premiere Pro) as well as in-platform editors like TikTok, Instagram and CapCut
Proven end-to-end delivery, comfort working at pace, and the ability to move between branded and organic social formats
Understanding of digital video platforms and what makes content shareable
Understanding of content from an organic POV as well as a brand/client POV, committed to respecting the audience and getting the brand's tone of voice right
Experience and comfort with client and partner meetings
Energetic and dynamic on-camera presence
Stellar written and verbal communication skills
Robust sense of teamwork and collaboration
Experience and maturity dealing with sources, subjects, colleagues and trolls
