ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking talented undergraduate or post-graduate students who have a genuine interest in becoming a patent attorney to undertake an internship with our Electrical Engineering and ICT team in Melbourne.

The DCC Patent Internship Program provides hands on work experience at a leading IP firm. You will have the opportunity to work alongside world leading patent attorneys contributing to patent drafting, filing, prosecution, IP portfolio management,



oppositions and litigation.

Our internship program will run from November 2026 to February 2027 (excluding the Christmas and New Year period). Each internship lasts 3 weeks, with start and end dates tailored to successful candidates' availability.

ABOUT YOU

Qualifications

- Completed 3-4 years of an undergraduate or postgraduate degree in:
- electrical engineering
- software/computer science
- ICT
- artificial intelligence
- physics
- a related field
