This is a full-time remote position starting at $400–500 USD/month. We are hiring a Short-Form Video Editor to produce content for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts. For the right person, this role has a explicit growth path to Creative Director — more responsibility, more creative input, and higher pay over time.

What You Will Do

Edit short-form videos (60–90 seconds) from raw talking-head footage

Color grade footage to a cinematic, premium standard

Handle audio leveling, music selection, and sound design

Add clean captions using our brand font (SF Pro Display), modeled after the caption style of creator Daniel Dalen

Attend bi-weekly strategy calls (Tuesdays and Thursdays)

Grow into content ideation and creative direction over time

This is the aesthetic benchmark we are building toward. Requirements Strong portfolio of short-form video edits (Instagram Reels or TikTok preferred)

Proven color grading experience — hard requirement. Your portfolio must show it. Do not apply without this.

DaVinci Resolve proficiency strongly preferred. CapCut acceptable to start.

Reliable internet and consistent availability

Professional communicator — proactive, meets deadlines, responsive on messaging

Creative eye — someone who brings ideas, not just executes tasks
