We're looking for an experienced Site Manager to lead the delivery of a major Class 2 residential project in North Sydney . This is an opportunity to take ownership of a significant build, lead site operations from the front, and drive a culture of safety, quality, and excellence.

THE ROLE

Reporting to the Project Manager, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day management of site operations, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on programme, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Working closely with subcontractors, consultants, suppliers, and the project delivery team, you'll be instrumental in maintaining productivity, managing risks, and delivering a successful outcome for all stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include

- Managing all on-site construction activities from site establishment through to completion.
- Leading and coordinating subcontractors to ensure works are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with the construction programme.
- Driving project delivery to achieve programme milestones, quality requirements, and commercial objectives.




- Managing site safety and maintaining compliance with WHS legislation and company standards.
- Conducting daily pre-starts, toolbox talks, site walks, and subcontractor coordination meetings.
- Monitoring quality across all trades and ensuring works are completed in accordance with project specifications and approved documentation.
- Managing defect prevention and quality assurance processes throughout construction.
- Coordinating site logistics, materials, plant, equipment, and workforce planning.
- Proactively identifying and resolving construction and programme challenges.
- Working closely with consultants, certifiers, and authorities to facilitate inspections and approvals.
- Supporting project reporting, short-term programming, and look-ahead planning.
- Maintaining accurate site records and project documentation.
- Fostering a collaborative, accountable, and high-performing site culture.

ABOUT YOU You're a strong leader who leads from the front and builds credibility through action. You understand the complexities of Class 2 residential construction and are passionate about delivering projects to the highest standards.

You'll also bring

- Proven experience as a Site Manager delivering Class 2 residential projects within NSW.
- Strong experience managing multi-storey apartment developments and residential construction projects.




- Comprehensive understanding of NSW construction regulations, NCC requirements, and WHS legislation.
- Experience coordinating multiple subcontractors and managing complex site programmes.
- Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, sequencing, site logistics, and quality management.
- Demonstrated ability to drive programme outcomes while maintaining quality and safety standards.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
- Construction White Card (essential).
- Relevant trade qualification, Builder's Licence, or tertiary construction qualification (preferred).
