BMS Project Manager / Project Engineer

The Company

Our client is a leading Building Management Systems (BMS) contractor with a strong presence across Recent South Wales, delivering projects throughout the commercial, healthcare, data centre, education, retail, and critical infrastructure sectors.

Known for their technical capability and customer-focused approach, they continue to secure high-profile projects and are seeking an experienced BMS professional to support their ongoing growth.

The Role

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will oversee the delivery of BMS projects from design and procurement through to commissioning and handover.

Working closely with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal engineering teams, you will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities include:

- Managing multiple BMS projects simultaneously
- Project planning, scheduling, forecasting, and reporting
- Client and stakeholder management
- Reviewing project specifications and technical documentation
- Coordinating engineering, programming, installation, and commissioning activities
- Managing project budgets, variations, and commercial outcomes
- Supporting site teams to ensure successful project delivery
- Maintaining strong customer relationships throughout the project lifecycle

About You

To be successful, you will have experience delivering BMS, building automation, HVAC controls,



or related building services projects.

You will possess:

- Experience as a Project Manager, Project Engineer, or Senior BMS Engineer
- Strong technical understanding of BMS and HVAC control systems
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Commercial awareness and project financial management experience
- The ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deadlines
- A proactive and solutions-focused approach

Experience with systems such as Tridium Niagara, Schneider Electric, Siemens, Honeywell, Distech, Johnson Controls, or similar will be highly regarded.
