An exciting opportunity is available for a Maintenance Person at our Oakburn Plant.

Key Responsibilities (Include but are not limited to):

When completing stock take or level of stock is low, advise Maintenance Manager, or Maintenance 2IC to reorder

Organising and maintaining our spare parts and consumables storage area in an organised, clean and tidy manner; e.g. Chemicals, oil, grease, gases, steel, nuts, bolts, bearings as per QA, WHS, & EMS standards

Add all parts in MEX catalogue system

Sorting and labelling all Marel PMS parts

Receiving and checking goods against work orders

Sending away items that need repair and refurbishment and ensure return

Assist Contract Managers with Preventative Maintenance requirements and relevant Contractor Management documentation

Ensure all required data entry is completed in an efficient and accurate manner

Ensure all reporting is completed and supplied for analysis as required

Work within Baiada guidelines and demonstrate commitment to continual improvement





Other administration duties as required.

Required Skills (Must-haves):

High level communication skills – verbal and written

Knowledge of food processing industry, especially food safety/HACCP principles

Ability to implement Company policies and legislation to ensure compliance of the Company

Positive attitude with the ability to remain calm under pressure and communicate and address issues in a skilled and appropriate manner

Well-developed problem-solving skills and ability to make quick and correct decisions “on the job” and throughout a production day

Well-developed problem-solving skills with the ability to arrive at and implement long term preventative actions.
