About the role

As the Social Media Content Lead, you will own the day-to-day strategy and presence across all social platforms, ensuring each channel is optimised for reach, strength and engagement. This is a hands-on role where you will translate brand, campaign and commercial priorities into platform-specific content and real-time optimisation, while building strong audience engagement and long-term channel growth.

Key responsibilities include:

- Developing and executing platform-specific strategies across TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook
- Creating and optimising content aligned to platform behaviour, trends, and best practices
- Across social strategy and execution
- Script writing, being on camera and filming behind camera too
- Content creation (being on camera)
- Managing publishing schedules including timing, captions, and format optimisation
- Driving engagement, reach, and performance across all channels
- Collaborating with internal teams and external partners to deliver campaign content
- Monitoring performance and continuously optimising based on insights and data
- Staying ahead of social trends,



platform updates, and emerging opportunities
- Leading small team of experience social media specialists

Skills & experience

- 3+ years experience in a social media (across organic social) ideally working agency-side
- Must have social media team management experience (even 1 x direct report- highly advantageous)
- Proven experience in a social media lead role
- Strong hands-on experience across TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook
- Content creation, comfortable being on-and using camera
- Highly proficient social media strategy, execution, social copywriting, social media advertising and reporting
- Deep understanding of platform trends, content formats, and audience behaviour
- Experience driving engagement, reach, and community growth
- Highly organised with strong planning and time management skills
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Commercial mindset with the ability to align content to business outcomes
- You must be a self-starter, very driven and can work both effectively within a team and able to work autonomously!
