About the Chance

Join our passionate Community Services team in Sunshine as a Full Time Therapeutic Family Violence Practitioner and make a genuine difference in the lives of those who are healing from their experiences of Family Violence. You'll provide expert therapeutic support to Children, Young People, Women and their families affected by family violence, helping them build resilience and create safer futures.

What You'll Do





- Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions to Children, Young People and Women to recover from the effects of Family Violence.
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and develop safety plans
- Provide individual, group, and family counselling sessions
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and external service providers
- Maintain accurate case documentation and reports
- Support clients in accessing community resources and services

- Applicants must have the right to work in Australia.
- The successful applicant will be required to undergo a National Criminal History check.
- A medical assessment will be conducted to see if you are physically capable for the role
