We are looking for an experienced Electrical Design Draftsperson to join our building services design team based in our South Melbourne office. You will be responsible for drafting and checking electrical building services for a varying range of projects.

The ability to interpret and plan design documentation provided by Engineers
Ability to work to tight deadlines
A great team player
Previous experience producing CAD drawings for compliance with client requirements and standards, to ensure completeness prior to issuing for construction
Extensive experience in the practice of the drafting in the general electrical engineering sector using various software, preferably AutoCAD, Bluebeam
Demonstrated understanding of local industry standards and market sector
Understanding of relevant National Construction Code and Australian Standards a preference
Advanced written and verbal communication skills
Experience with NCC Part J lighting computations and Cable Pro software a preference
Highest standard of presentation and skilled conduct
Is available to work in-house Monday-Friday
Proven experience in a similar role
