About the Role
We are seeking experienced EUC Deployment Technicians to support a major End User Computing (EUC) deployment project at Brisbane. Working under the direction of project leads, technicians will be responsible for the deployment, installation, testing, and asset capture of computing and printing equipment within the hospital's Pharmacy and Pathology departments. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in desktop deployments, hardware rollouts, and IT support projects who enjoy hands‑on technical work in a structured project environment.
Responsibilities
- Unload delivered EUC equipment from designated staging and loading dock areas.
- Transport equipment to installation locations throughout the hospital.
- Unbox, assemble, and physically install desktop computers, monitors, peripherals, and printers.
- Perform cable management and maintain clean, orderly workstations.
- Connect and power on all deployed equipment.
- Verify successful user sign-in and Active Directory authentication.
- Execute deployment checklists and follow deployment procedures.
- Capture and record device and asset information including serial numbers, asset tags, locations, and assigned users using -provided tracking templates.
- Support onsite testing activities following deployment and execute provided test cases.
- Escalate technical issues and deployment exceptions to supervisingpersonnel.
- Complete daily timesheets and project documentation as required.
Requirements
- Previous experience in desktop deployment, technology refresh, or EUC rollout projects.
- Experience installing and configuring PCs, monitors, peripherals, and printers.
- Basic understanding of Windows operating systems and Active Directory authentication.
- Strong attention to detail with proven experience in asset tracking and documentation.
- Ability to follow documented procedures and work under project supervision.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to safely move, unpack, and install IT equipment.
- Comfortable working in a healthcare or operational environment.
Desirable Skills
- Previous experience working on hospital, healthcare, or government deployment projects.
- Experience with printer deployments and peripheral device installations.
- Familiarity with asset management systems and inventory tracking tools.
- Knowledge of desktop support and basic hardware troubleshooting.
Key Deliverables
- Successful deployment and installation of EUC devices and printers across designated hospital departments.
- Verification of device functionality and user authentication.
- Accurate completion of asset capture documentation.
- Execution of onsite testing activities and reporting of results.
- Submission of daily timesheets and deployment records to the nominated project contact.
