Penleigh and Essendon Grammar School – Keilor East VIC

We are seeking expressions of interest from outstanding, engaging and innovative VCE Mathematics Teachers to join the Senior School (Co-educational Years 11 and 12) in 2027.

We have multiple full-time fixed term replacement positions available for experienced teachers of VCE Specialist Mathematics, Mathematical Methods and General Mathematics.

The successful applicant would join a highly collaborative faculty committed to academic excellence, evidence-informed practice and exceptional student outcomes.

The ideal candidates will be:

- Outstanding and inspiring classroom teachers;
- Experienced in teaching VCE Mathematics, including Specialist Mathematics, Mathematical Methods and /or General Mathematics
- Committed to contemporary, evidence-informed teaching practice;
- Able to set high expectations for student learning and achievement;
- Skilled communicators who build strong relationships with students, colleagues and families;
- Committed to student care, wellbeing, professional collaboration and continuous improvement.

Teaching within the Senior School offers the opportunity to work with highly motivated students in a purpose-built senior learning workplace (Larkin Centre) focused on academic achievement, wellbeing and preparation for life beyond school.

Penleigh and Essendon Grammar School (PEGS) has approximately 3,000 students from Kindergarten to Year 12 across campuses in Moonee Ponds, Essendon and Keilor East.
