Beerwah Golf Club is seeking a suitably qualified person for the role of Golf and Membership Manager to join our friendly team.Reporting to the General Manager, the successful candidate will be required to oversee the day-to-day operations of the golf business and driving the recruitment, engagement, and retention of members at Beerwah Golf Club.

The Golf and Membership Manager position is integral to providing an exceptional golfing experience for members and guests, managing membership programs, and supporting the club’s overall growth and success. The Golf and Membership Manager will work closely with the Course Superintendent, membership team, and senior leadership to ensure alignment with the club’s goals.

About Beerwah Golf Club

Beerwah Golf Club is situated in the Glass House Region of the Sunshine Coast. Established in 1963, the Club has seen tremendous growth in the past four years, primarily due to two factors;

- The increase in the popularity of Golf post Covid
- The population explosion within the popular Sunshine Coast Region.

The Club is positioning itself, not only to be a first-class golf Course but to be a Community Hub, developing services and amenities beyond the golf course itself.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of the Club and its activities to provide informed support, advice and promotion to members, guests and visitors.




- Maintain a current knowledge of the rules of golf and provide technical advice to the Club’s relevant committees and members.
- Develop member retention and growth strategies.
- Provide leadership and be proactive in maintaining and enhancing the club’s culture.
- Introduce initiatives that will optimise operations and processes of the Club’s Golf and Member services.
- Identify, deliver, monitor, and report on golf and membership Strategic Plan matters.

Personal Qualities and Professional Skills

- The ideal candidate:
- Has over two years’ experience and proven performance in Golf and Membership operations.
- Demonstrates strong leadership qualities.
- Has a good practical approach to developing operational policies and procedures, through a continuous improvement approach.
- Is Operationally Skilled: oversee and engage where required in the operational activities of the golf and membership services.
- Engaging Leader: Capable of creating a harmonious team workplace and fostering a positive culture.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
- Demonstrated success in similar roles within the golf industry
- A passion for the game and for creating memorable experiences
