Family Lawyer/Associate Family Lawyer – Hervey Bay

Stone Group Lawyers is seeking an experienced Family Lawyer or Associate Family Lawyer to join our growing Hervey Bay office.

This is an opportunity for a lawyer who enjoys practising family law at a high level while also becoming part of a close-knit regional community. We are looking for someone who values relationships, client service and practical outcomes, but who also understands the importance of productivity, commercial awareness and delivering strong results.

About the Role

You will work across a broad range of family law matters, including:

- Property settlements
- Domestic and family violence matters
- Divorce and separation matters
- Mediation and dispute resolution
- Court appearances and litigation
- Child Protection matters

You will have the autonomy to manage your own files while being supported by an experienced team of lawyers, paralegals and administrative staff. Travel throughout the Fraser Coast and Wide Bay may be required, so drivers licence and transport is required.

About You

We are looking for a lawyer who:

- Has post admission experience in Family Law (preferably 1+ PAE)
- Can confidently manage a family law file from commencement through to resolution
- Demonstrates excellent client relationship skills
- Is commercially minded and understands the importance of billable performance
- Takes pride in delivering exceptional client service
- Has strong drafting,



negotiation and advocacy skills
- Enjoys working as part of a collaborative team
- Wants to become an active member of the local Hervey Bay community
