Tech Mahindra Australia is seeking an experienced Solution Architect to lead the design and delivery of large-scale enterprise solutions within the telecommunications domain. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned architect with solid expertise in Java, WebLogic, OSS/BSS platforms, and AWA, who thrives in driving technical innovation and delivering business-critical solutions.

What You'll Do

- Design and implement scalable, high-performance software architectures using Java 11.
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into robust solution designs.
- Lead the architecture and implementation of OSS/BSS solutions aligned with business objectives.
- Provide technical leadership, guidance, and mentorship to development teams.
- Conduct architecture and code reviews to ensure quality, scalability, and best practices.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements to enhance delivery effectiveness.
- Drive innovation by staying current with industry trends and architectural best practices.
- Partner with stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes and strategic alignment.

Must-Have Skills

Java 11 (Essential / Deal Breaker)





Strong experience with Oracle WebLogic

Deep understanding of OSS/BSS platforms and frameworks

Experience with AWA (Application Workload Automation)

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities

Nice to Have

- Cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Microservices architecture
- Agile delivery experience
- DevOps practices and tools
- Experience leading technical teams and large-scale programs
- Architecture certifications such as TOGAF or AWS Certified Solutions Architect

What We're Looking For

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- 10–15 years of experience in software engineering and solution architecture.
- Proven track record of designing and delivering enterprise-scale technology solutions.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and guide cross-functional teams.
