Manage sponsorship and events portfolio for a multidisciplinary health professional association

$75K for 4 day work week (0.8 FTE) + super + fringe benefits

21 September start (or as negotiated) About The Role This is a fast-paced role suited to an experienced professional who enjoys variety, thrives under pressure, and can confidently manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Working closely with the CEO as part of a small, high-performing virtual team, you'll lead the delivery of the ASA's sponsorship, marketing and events portfolio. No two days are the same.

You may be negotiating sponsorship opportunities, coordinating conference logistics, developing marketing campaigns, and managing webinar delivery all within the same week. Success in this role requires demonstrated experience across event management, sponsorship and commercial partnerships, marketing and communications, together with exceptional organisational skills and the ability to manage competing deadlines while maintaining outstanding attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities Developing and managing sponsorship and commercial partnership opportunities

Building and maintaining strong relationships with sponsors, exhibitors and key stakeholders

Planning, delivering and evaluating conferences, webinars and educational events

Preparing and monitoring event budgets

Supporting committees and volunteers to develop engaging educational content

Developing and implementing marketing campaigns across email, social media and digital channels





Writing promotional copy and event communications

Setting up registration pages and event processes within iMIS and the Learning Management System

Training presenters and hosting webinars and virtual events

Working closely with the Association's professional conference organiser to deliver the annual scientific conference About You Degree qualification in a relevant discipline

Minimum of five years' experience in sponsorship, events, marketing or a related role

Demonstrated experience delivering successful conferences, events and webinars

Proven experience developing sponsorship and commercial partnerships

Strong marketing, communications and copywriting skills

Excellent project management and organisational skills

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines

Excellent digital skills and confidence using event platforms and online learning platforms

Outstanding interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with experience working collaboratively with volunteers, sponsors, suppliers and external partners

Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a small virtual team.
