Psychologist | Adolescent & Adult | Private Practice

Permanent | Full time (part time can also be considered) | $105,000 to $140,000 | Albury, NSW

Meaningful work, in a practice built for your clinical growth.

The role

See clients from your own consulting room at our Albury clinic

Adults and teens, across a varied caseload

A mix of privately referred and scheme-funded work: motor accident, workers compensation and NDIS, with a strong and growing private referral base

Collaborate with other allied health providers where care is shared

Liaise with GPs, schools, families and support coordinators where their involvement matters

Intake, communication and continuity carried by our admin and client experience team

Over time our clinicians springboard from the breadth of our work to grow a focus of their own. Whether in assessment, a particular presentation, or a clinical direction you bring with you, we back that development rather than treating a broad caseload as the ceiling.

About Accord

Accord Health is a therapist-owned psychology and allied health practice in Albury, built around a clear idea. We believe the best care for our community starts with being a genuinely good place to work, and we put real effort into being exactly that.

Our work spans adult, child and adolescent mental health, family stress and separation, developmental assessment, parenting strain, grief and loss, men’s counselling, and injury and workplace adjustment, alongside occupational therapy for people managing neurodevelopmental conditions, disability, and changed capacity. We are a team spanning psychology, social work, rehabilitation counselling, occupational therapy, and paediatric therapeutic support.

Clinical leadership and peer support

Adam, the Managing Director, is a social worker by background and highly approachable, and you will have experienced colleagues nearby. So when a session turns difficult at four in the afternoon, you are not left holding it alone.

Around that is a rhythm that keeps the team close:

a brief weekly huddle that keeps us in step with each other, a monthly reflective practice group facilitated by an experienced psychologist or social worker depending on the month, and regular clinical supervision, including individual supervision from a clinical psychologist. The colleagues you work alongside span a solid biopsychosocial expanse, so when someone’s needs cross into function, family or daily living, the right person is often close by.

How Accord works

Meaningful clinical work, done well, in a close team and a practice that genuinely backs its clinicians. You will have real autonomy with the supervision, reflective practice and colleagues around you to exercise it soundly. That’s the practice we’re building, and it’s the one we’re inviting you into.

What we offer

Full time, with part time considered

$105,000 to $140,000, depending on experience and fit

A performance bonus framework with achievable targets

Regular individual supervision, a monthly reflective practice group, and a PD budget

Clinical leadership and peer support

Brilliant admin and client experience support

An intentional workplace culture

Room to shape your practice, with support to pursue special interests and career milestones

Who we’re looking for

You are a psychologist with general registration who is comfortable holding your own caseload and working with a good degree of independence, while valuing a team around you. You value reflective practice, a trauma-informed approach, and colleagues from other disciplines who bring different perspectives.

You bring some years of practice and the judgement that comes with them. You work thoughtfully, reliably, and with the maturity to sit with complexity. If you are well established, there is real scope here to practise at the top of your capability, and to grow beyond it.

Requirements

General registration as a psychologist with AHPRA

Additional endorsements are advantageous

Police Check, Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check, or willingness to obtain them
