EOI Civil Site & Project Engineers (Contract Role)

Engi Advisory is currently undertaking significant uplift in regional enquiries from Civil Contractors. We are seeking experienced Civil Site & Project Engineers to join our team on a contract basis .

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to significant civil engineering projects in Regional, NSW - from Dubbo, Wagga to Griffith.

As a Civil Site or Project Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the planning, execution, and delivery of engineering projects. This position offers the chance to work on diverse projects whilst managing technical, operational, and logistical challenges on site. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget, whilst maintaining the highest standards of quality and compliance.

Key responsibilities

Overseeing day-to-day site operations and ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and environmental regulations

Coordinating with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution

Conducting site inspections and documentation to monitor progress against project timelines and specifications

Managing project budgets and resources, identifying cost‑saving opportunities whilst maintaining quality standards

Preparing and reviewing technical documentation, including drawings, specifications, and reports

Liaising with clients, consultants, and regulatory bodies to address project requirements and obtain necessary approvals

Identifying and mitigating risks throughout the project lifecycle

Supporting the development and implementation of project management plans and strategies

Mentoring junior staff and contributing to continuous improvement in project delivery practices

What we’re looking for

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification

Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in civil engineering project management or site engineering roles





Proven experience managing construction or infrastructure projects from conception to completion

Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, practices, and relevant Australian Standards

Experience with project management software and digital tools

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Robust problem‑solving abilities and technical acumen

Demonstrated commitment to health, safety, and environmental management

Professional membership with Engineers Australia or equivalent body is highly desirable

Experience in regional or remote project delivery is advantageous

Valid driver's licence and willingness to work on site in Regional, NSW
