Pharmacy Assistant Senior - Clinical Unit

We're excited to welcome a Pharmacy Assistant Senior - Clinical Unit Based Pharmacy Assistant (CUBPA) to our Pharmacy Department.
This role will primarily provide high level support to pharmacists on the clinical units that use Clinical Unit Based Pharmacy Assistant services, preparing inpatient medication orders, admission histories, discharge medication records and enter allergy documentation across relevant platforms within scope of practice. The role also contributes to a range of technical and operational pharmacy support activities, including medicine dispensing and distribution, inventory management, maintenance of medicines information systems, and quality improvement activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with medication order and prescription preparation including ipharmacy dispensing and use of cancer care and other compounding electronic systems.
- Support the safe and effective operation of electronic medication management systems including automated dispensing systems.
- Conduct inventory management within hospital and health services facilities including ordering, receiving, storage, distribution and stocktake of medicines.
- Provide a defined range of clinical support tasks for patient relating to components of the medicines management cycle, in line with professional standards with appropriate training, supervision and competency assessment.
Remuneration value up to $93,527 p.a.,
comprising salary between $76,076 - $81,972 p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (CA4) (Fixed Term Temporary position available for 12 months).
