Projects Supervisor in Civil Structural Landscaping Retaining Walls

About the Role: Retaining Wall Systems (AustQ) is seeking an experienced Projects Supervisor to coordinate retaining wall and concrete installation projects. You will be responsible for site management, safety, people leadership, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee site coordination for multiple projects, ensuring compliance with engineered design, quality, and safety standards.

Plan, organise, and supervise direct employees and subcontractors to achieve productivity and profitability targets.

Report daily project status, labour usage, and progress to the QLD Office.

Maintain site safety plans, accurate site diaries, and progress documentation.

Manage materials, plant, and equipment, including procurement and record-keeping.

Foster strong relationships with head contractors, engineers, and site teams.





Ensure all staff and subcontractors are inducted and adhere to safety plans and SWMS.

Conduct weekly toolbox meetings and safety inspections.

Complete cost reporting, stock takes, and quality assurance documentation.

At least 5 years’ supervisory experience in the construction industry

Solid people management and communication skills

High awareness of safety and compliance

Solid knowledge of masonry, concrete, reinforcement, formwork and structural walling in construction.

experience in civil and earthworks is a bonus but not necessary

Proven problem-solving and cost management abilities

Organised, with strong planning and forecasting skills

Positive attitude and ability to foster a productive team environment
