Job Description
Founded in 1959, RM Watson based in NSW is Australia’s oldest and most experienced remedial building contractor, they are the experts in remedial services. They offer a comprehensive range of services; from Concrete & Magnesite Repairs to Balcony Refurbishment, Waterproofing & Facade Coatings, plus much more. An prospect exists for a Mechanical Technician with an eye for detail, capable of multitasking and a drive to help improve the operation to join their team.
The role includes but is not limited to:
- Perform regular scheduled maintenance service on a range of vehicle or equipment
- Repairing and replacing worn and defective parts, and reassembling mechanical components referencing service manuals as needed
- Develop and implement mechanical maintenance plans to prevent costly equipment breakdowns
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical malfunctions and breakdowns
- Testing and adjusting mechanical parts after being repaired for proper performance
- Complete and maintain service and inspection documentation ensuring its compliance
- May inspect vehicles and issue roadworthiness certificates or detail work required to achieve roadworthiness
- May respond to vehicle or equipment breakdown service calls
Maintain a tidy work environment and adhering to health and safety regulations.
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- Strong mechanical knowledge on a wide variety of vehicle and equipment
- Mechanical Technician trade qualification or equivalent
- Ability to work well both independently and in a team environment
- Strong communication skills
- Strong diagnostic abilitiesSelf-motivated, organised, punctual and reliable
- Must have great work ethics
Salary: Between $79,499 and $82,000 per annum + Super
