DESCRIPTION

Clayton Douglas Racing is currently seeking full-time and casual stable staff to join our team. We are located beside the Mornington Racecourse. Applicants must have their own transport and accommodation.

The role includes but is not limited to:

- Feeding, grooming, rugging, mucking out, and washing horses
- Leading horses to/from walker and track
- Conducting basic health checks and reporting concerns
- Assisting with farriers, vets, dentists, and physios
- Preparing horses and gear for races/trials and attending as required
- Saddling and preparation for trackwork
- General stable cleaning and maintenance
- Comply with company and industry policies and procedures, including Rules of Racing.

Requirements:
- Experience in a similar role
- Confident handling of horses
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented

Shifts (approx):

Morning: Mon–Sat, 4:30am – 9:30am

Afternoon: 2:30pm – 5:00pm

Full time staff work rotating weekends (every second Sunday), with rostered afternoon off.
