Purpose of the Role

As the Stock Manager at Henne’s Adelaide boutique, you’ll lead all aspects of stock operations - from delivery to the shop floor. As part of the opening team for our very first boutique in South Australia, you’ll play a foundational role in shaping the in-store experience our Adelaide clients receive from day one - making your leadership and commitment to the Henne brand experience absolutely vital. You’ll be responsible for the stock operations, maintaining inventory accuracy, and continuously optimising processes to support the boutique’s commercial goals.

This is a critical leadership role where your operational expertise and team-first mindset will make a tangible impact every day.

Key Responsibilities

STOCK TEAM LEADERSHIP

- Lead, coach, and develop the stock team to deliver operational excellence across all stock activities
- Act as the key liaison for stock-related communication between the boutique team and Head Office
- Partner with Visual Merchandising and Store Management to prioritise stock movement for trading priorities and new launches

STOCK MANAGEMENT & OPERATIONS
- Oversee the receipt, unpacking, processing, and replenishment of high-volume stock deliveries
- Manage daily and weekly replenishment,



ensuring the sales floor is consistently and accurately stocked
- Conduct and manage stocktakes, cycle counts, and reconciliation processes to maintain inventory integrity
- Investigate stock discrepancies, shrinkage, and loss trends, implementing proactive prevention strategies
- Continuously review and optimise stockroom workflows to improve productivity, safety, and delivery-to-floor times
- Manage Click & Collect, phone orders, inter-store transfers, and client order fulfilment with accuracy and urgency
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe stockroom environment in line with operational and WHS standards

REPORTING & FLEXIBILITY
- Provide weekly reporting and insights on stock delivery volumes, replenishment KPIs, stockroom productivity, and key inventory metrics
- Work flexibly, including early mornings or evenings as required, to manage deliveries and stockroom resets

What are we looking for?

- Demonstrated experience in a stock management or inventory leadership role, ideally within fashion or retail
- Proven ability to lead, coach, and inspire a team to meet operational goals and brand standards
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent attention to detail, ensuring high levels of stock accuracy and operational compliance




- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to take initiative to resolve stock-related challenges
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel) and inventory management systems
- Comfortable working in a physically demanding environment, including lifting and moving stock
- Self-motivated and action-oriented, with a drive to continuously improve processes and outcomes
- A genuine passion for fashion and connection to the Henne brand
- Availability to work a Tuesday to Saturday week, working stock operation times of 6am - 2pm
