ABOUT THE ROLE
We are currently seeking an experienced and driven Senior Project Manager to lead multiple refurbishment and redevelopment projects across aged care and retirement living facilities.
In this role, you will be responsible for delivering refurbishment projects safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will coordinate subcontractors and trades, manage site resources, and maintain strong communication with internal stakeholders and clients.
A key focus of this position is working within live environments, requiring a high level of professionalism, planning, and sensitivity to the needs of residents and operational staff.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and manage refurbishment projects from inception to completion.
- Oversee project resources, budgets, and timelines to ensure successful delivery.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
- Maintain strong client relationships and provide regular project updates.
- Supervise and coordinate site supervisors, tradespeople, and subcontractors.
- Prepare project quotes using estimating software such as Cubit.
- Create and manage project plans using MS Project.
- Review project scope, schedule deliverables, and estimate costs.
- Manage all onsite and offsite construction activities, ensuring compliance with building and safety regulations.
- Develop and maintain robust client relationships, identifying and securing future work opportunities.
- Lead and motivate project teams, including supervisors and subcontractors, ensuring effective programme management.
- Manage project schedules, financials, risks, and work health and safety (WHS) on-site.
REQUIREMENTS
- Degree or Diploma in Construction Project Management.
- Experience in refurbishment projects, particularly in aged care and retirement living.
- Proficiency in MS Project and estimating tools like Cubit.
- Strong ability to prepare and manage quotes for new work.
- Background as a tradesperson or possession of a builder's licence (preferred).
- Proficiency in using MS Projects, Pronto, Procore, Rapid Induct, Cubit, SharePoint software for job management.
- Valid driver's license and valid working rights in Australia
- Ability to obtain police clearance
- Covid vaccinated and willing to get flu vaccination annually
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Valid Australian work rights
- Valid driver's licence
- Fully COVID-19 vaccinated
- Willingness to receive annual flu vaccinations
- Ability to obtain a Police Clearance, WWAC, and WWCC
