About the Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

- Assess and triage patients presenting to the Urgent Care Clinic.

- Complete thorough clinical assessments and develop appropriate care plans.

- Recognise patient deterioration and escalate care immediately when required.

- Perform clinical procedures including wound management, suturing and plaster application where within scope of practice.

- Work collaboratively with GPs and the wider multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, patient-centred care.

- Provide education and support to patients and their families.

- Maintain accurate, timely and comprehensive clinical documentation.

- Contribute to a positive team culture while adapting to the changing demands of an urgent care environment.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse or Paramedic.

- A valid Working with Children Check and National Police Check (or willingness to obtain).

- Previous experience working in Emergency, Urgent Care or a remote healthcare setting, ideally with a minimum of one year of triage experience.

- Approximately five years of post-graduate clinical experience is highly regarded.

- Strong assessment and clinical decision-making skills with the ability to identify and respond to patient deterioration.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- The ability to work autonomously while contributing positively to a multidisciplinary team.
