Passionate Paediatric Occupational Therapist

Join a clinic where clinicians stay, grow and genuinely enjoy coming to work.

At Little Steps Therapies, we're building the kind of workplace therapists wish existed when they graduated.

We're looking for a passionate Paediatric Occupational Therapist to join our growing multidisciplinary team in Rouse Hill.

Whether you're a current graduate looking for structured mentoring or an experienced clinician seeking autonomy, career progression and genuine work-life balance, we'd love to hear from you.

Why You'll Love Working Here

We invest in our clinicians.

We believe exceptional therapy comes from clinicians who feel supported, valued and have the time to do their best work—not from overloaded schedules.

That's why we intentionally protect time for supervision, report writing, planning, collaboration and professional development, rather than expecting these to be completed in your own time.

What you'll enjoy:

Above-award salary with annual salary reviews

Salary: $90,000–$130,000 + Super + Bonuses

Senior clinician packages negotiable based on experience and leadership responsibilities

Weekly 1:1 supervision and mentoring

Weekly MDT meetings and regular professional development built into your schedule

Generous professional development budget

Dedicated administration team so you can focus on therapy, not paperwork

Protected time for reports, planning, resources and professional development

Manageable daily caseloads that prioritise quality therapy

Genuine work-from-home flexibility

No weekends or late evenings

Established referral base with a consistent flow of new clients

Newly renovated clinic featuring sensory and active therapy spaces

Free secure onsite parking

What Makes Us Different?

1. Protected Clinical Time

Unlike many practices, we intentionally build your week around quality therapy—not back-to-back appointments.

Your schedule is built around your preferred working style and includes dedicated time for:

- Report writing

- Clinical notes

- Planning

- Resource development

- Weekly supervision

- MDT meetings

- Professional development

This allows you to focus on providing excellent therapy without constantly taking work home.

2. Genuine Flexibility

You'll have access to:

- Flexible working arrangements

- Clinic, community, school and telehealth sessions (depending on your preferences and service needs)

- A caseload developed around your clinical interests wherever possible

3. A Supportive Team

You'll be joining a warm, welcoming multidisciplinary team of Occupational Therapists, Speech Pathologists and Allied Health Assistants who genuinely enjoy working together.

Our leadership team is approachable, hands-on and invested in helping every clinician succeed. Whether you're navigating a challenging case, developing new skills or exploring a clinical interest, you'll always have support available.

We believe collaboration creates better outcomes for both clinicians and families.

4. Professional Development & Career Growth

Whether you're just beginning your career or looking to step into leadership, we'll support your professional goals.

Opportunities include:

- Structured new graduate program

- Weekly clinical supervision

- External professional development

- Developing clinical special interests

- Running group therapy programs

- Mentoring junior clinicians

- Service development projects

- Progression into Senior Clinician, Clinical Lead and future leadership roles

As our organisation continues to grow, so do the opportunities for our team.

5. Love What You Do

We want our clinicians to build careers they genuinely enjoy.

You'll have access to high-quality assessments and therapy resources, opportunities to pursue your clinical interests, and a workplace that values both professional excellence and personal wellbeing.

Because we believe that when clinicians are supported, children and families receive the very best care.

Who We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is:

- AHPRA registered Occupational Therapist (or graduating soon)

- Passionate about working with children and families

- Committed to evidence-based practice

- Eager to continue learning and developing

- A collaborative and positive team member

We welcome applications from new graduates, experienced clinicians and senior therapists.
