Looking for an interstate transport job but like having the ability of being home everyday?

Blok Freight is looking for a dedicated, proud and collaborative MC driver to step into a role for fulfilling a current contract for this legacy family business based in Lismore NSW for over 35 years.

About The Role:

This role will have you driving well maintained, and modern Kenworth prime movers. This role is based from Port Macquarie , traveling to Sydney and back each day. The job has a start time of between 1PM - 3PM each day, then arriving back around 1AM - 3AM the following morning, in order to change over with the north bound driver. Some days there may be one pick up in Sydney, other days two or three.

What you'll be doing

Safely operating a B-Double curtainsider and new Kenworth prime mover.

Ensuring equipment is kept clean and in good condition ensuring Blok Freight's image is kept at a high standard. Trailers are washed for you, with the expectation for yourself to keep the prime mover clean.

Adhering to all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies to uphold our focus of Safety & Quality.





Conducting pre-trip inspections and ensuring the proper maintenance of your assigned vehicle in accordance with NHVR.

Providing excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients and colleagues.

Maintaining detailed logs and records of your driving activities; logbooks, timesheets, connotes etc.

Collaborating with the logistics team to optimise delivery schedules, routes and Growth.

What we're looking for

A valid MC driver's licence with a clean driving history

Overnight express work, desirable, not mandatory

Experience (at least 5 years) driving interstate MC and HC vehicles

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety

Ability to work with another driver who shares the northern leg of the run

Knowledge of Western Sydney & East Coast through to Lismore.

The ability to access connotes via Email, Text message and Driver App

Understand that your prime mover must be washed weekly

Basic Fatigue Management (BFM)
