Commissioning Lead – SCADA & Controls

FIFO from Perth | 2:1 Roster | Contract Opportunity | $110+Super per hour

If you've spent your career around SCADA systems, RTUs and substation automation, and prefer being involved in testing, commissioning and troubleshooting rather than sitting in the office reviewing design packages, this role could be right up your street.

/n

I'm working with a major energy infrastructure owner delivering a large-scale renewable energy and transmission programme in the Pilbara. They're looking for a Commissioning Lead – SCADA & Controls to support the commissioning, integration and energisation of substations, renewable generation assets and battery energy storage systems.

The Role

/n

This is a site-based position focused on commissioning and operational readiness. You'll be responsible for troubleshooting complex control system issues, configuring RTUs and SCADA systems, overseeing testing activities and working closely with engineering, operations and project teams to ensure assets are safely brought online.

Key Experience

/n

/n





- 5+ years' experience within power utilities, transmission or power generation environments.

/n

- Strong background in SCADA, RTUs, HMIs and substation automation systems.

/n

- Experience commissioning control systems and resolving integration issues in live project environments.

/n

- Knowledge of protocols including IEC61850, IEC104, DNP3 and Modbus.

/n

- Experience with Siemens A8000, SEL RTAC, SICAM SCC, Ignition or similar platforms would be highly regarded.
