About the Role:

As a Mortgage Broker, you'll be responsible for building and managing your own client portfolio while delivering tailored lending solutions across a range of residential lending scenarios.

You'll receive ongoing mentoring if required, leads, compliance support and access to the systems and resources required to establish a successful mortgage broking business.

Key Responsibilities:

- Build and maintain strong relationships with current and existing clients.

- Generate new business through networking, referrals and business development activities.

- Conduct client discovery meetings and identify suitable lending strategies.

- Structure and present lending solutions tailored to each client's needs.

- Manage the end-to-end home loan process from enquiry through to settlement.

- Liaise with lenders, BDMs, solicitors,



conveyancers and other stakeholders throughout the application process.

- Maintain accurate client records and comply with all regulatory and compliance requirements.

- Deliver an exceptional customer experience that generates repeat business and referrals.

- Continue developing your technical knowledge and sales capability through ongoing coaching and professional development.

What We're Looking For:

Essential

- Experience in banking, home lending or financial services.

- Strong understanding of residential lending fundamentals.

- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

- A genuine passion for helping clients achieve their financial and property goals.

- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to business development.

- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple clients simultaneously.

- High level of professionalism, integrity and attention to detail.

- Willingness to learn, accept coaching and continuously improve.

- Ability to operate as an independent contractor under your own ABN (or willingness to establish one).

Highly Regarded

- 2+ years experience in banking, home lending or financial services.





- Existing referral relationships or a developing professional network.

- Certificate IV in Finance and Mortgage Broking (or willingness to obtain).

- Experience using lender servicing calculators, credit policy and loan application systems.
