Restaurant Manager / Restaurant Supervisor

Full-Time Position

Salary: $70,000 to $80,000 + per annum + 12% Superannuation

Porter House Hospitality Group is seeking an experienced and motivated Restaurant Manager or Restaurant Supervisor to join our team at Taja Brasserie, located within the busy Shoalhaven Heads Bowling & Recreation Club. The venue is part of Porter House Hospitality Group's portfolio of club and hospitality operations across New South Wales.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hospitality professional who is passionate about customer service, team leadership, and restaurant operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the restaurant.

- Lead, train, and motivate front-of-house staff.

- Deliver exceptional customer service and ensure a positive guest experience.

- Manage staff rosters, labour costs, and daily operations.

- Monitor service standards and maintain a high-quality dining experience.

- Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service delivery.

- Assist with stock control, ordering, and inventory management.

- Ensure compliance with food safety, liquor licensing, WHS,



and club policies.

- Handle customer feedback and resolve issues professionally.

Essential Requirements

- Minimum 5 years' experience in a Restaurant Manager, Restaurant Supervisor, or similar hospitality leadership role.

- Strong leadership and team management skills.

- Excellent customer service and communication abilities.

- Experience in busy restaurant, bistro, club, or hospitality environments.

- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

- Sound understanding of restaurant financials, labour control, and stock management.

- Current RSA certification (or willingness to obtain).

- Must be available to work weekends, evenings, and public holidays.

- Full working rights in Australia.
