ABOUT THE ROLE

Toyo Tyre Australia Pty Ltd have a position available for a store person in our Melbourne distribution centre at Derrimut, where the only inventory handled is rubber pneumatic tyres. This is a fulltime position on day shift working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday between 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM (actual hours to be determined at interview).

DUTIES
Receive inventory shipments, hand unload shipping containers and put away stock.
Pick and despatch customer orders.
Rotate and transfer stock.
Complete/submit transport consignment notes and manifests.
Operate forklift.
General warehouse duties.





SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Previous warehouse experience is preferred, with tyre warehouse experience being an advantage.
The candidate needs to be physically fit, dependable, possess a valuable level of initiative and have an eye for detail.
Previous experience with Transport Management Systems and Warehouse Management Systems would be advantageous.
A forklift licence is essential for this role.
