Responsibilities

Deciding whether the current approach gets refined or torn up and rebuilt, because both are on the table

Qualifications
Genuine data governance leadership experience in a regulated financial services workplace
Fluency in the regulatory landscape, not just familiarity, fluency
Ability to operate independently and take real ownership, because this function needs a driver, not a passenger
A track record of building trust with people who don't naturally trust "governance" people
