We’re on the hunt for our next Assistant Manager to help keep the Granville Hotel buzzing and loved by the locals.

Located in the heart of Granville, The Granville Hotel is a classic, welcoming local pub and accommodation spot just outside Sydney’s CBD. Steeped in history since the late 19th century, the venue offers a relaxed space for locals to grab a quiet brew after work, shoot some pool, or catch up over our solid lineup of beers, ciders, and spirits. Alongside a vibrant public bar, we also offer comfortable short- and long‑term stays.

A day in the life of an Assistant Manager
Get to know the locals so well they think you’re part of the crew
Support the Publican to keep the pub running smoothly, safely, and with a excellent vibe
Learn the ropes of being a Publican while leading a team of absolute hospo legends
Handle hiccups before they turn into headaches
Bring the energy, the service, and the smiles every single shift

Inherent requirements
This is a hands‑on role that involves manual handling and lifting as part of regular duties (e.g. moving stock, kegs, and deliveries). Applicants must have the ability to perform physical tasks safely and efficiently.

About you




You’ve been around the bar, bistro, or gaming room block, and maybe already done some supervising
You’ve learned from outstanding managers and now you’re ready to step up
You’ve got the confidence, pride, and people skills to be the face of the pub when the boss is away
You’ve got a current RSA, RCG and ARCGas per state requirements
