Job Summary

Senior Finance Manager – Property Management. Based in Sydney CBD with occasional work in Parramatta. Partner with the Account Director and management team to lead financial operations for a significant client property portfolio across retail, commercial, industrial, community and telecommunication assets.

Key Responsibilities
Lead monthly financial reporting, month‑end processes and prepare management reports for presentation to the client.
Manage annual budgets, forecasts and variance analysis with detailed tenant‑by‑tenant commentary.
Ensure compliance with Trust Accounting and Property Accounting policies, including six‑month internal audit preparations.
Process journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, IFRS rent smoothing calculations and annual tenant outgoing reconciliations.
Act as primary finance liaison between the Account Director, client delivery team, client finance teams and JLL support functions.
Drive consistency in processes, timelines and reporting formats across the national portfolio.
Mentor and train team members, lead monthly finance training sessions.
Manage property transitions, bank accounts, GST reconciliations and client remittances.
Act as Level1 MRI support and drive system enhancements.

Qualifications
Degree in Accounting.




CPA qualification.
6+ years of experience in financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting.
Experience in property accounting.
Team management experience.
Experience with MRI property accounting system.
Solid leadership skills and accountability.
