We are seeking caretakers for a live in position to perform housekeeping & cleaning, food preparation & bar work, kitchen duties & light gardening. Someone to meet and greet our guests that come and visit the island for the day or look after them if they wish to stay a few nights. It is a beautiful island that consists of friendly kangaroos and beautiful singing birds.

Woody Island is one of the 105 islands in the Recherche Archipelago located just 15km off the coast of Esperance, Western Australia. The island is ideally situated to provide you and your family/ friends/ colleagues a daytrip adventure. Equally, the facilities and accommodation available make it a great opportunity to take your time and relax, spend a few days and really soak up the natural and unique island workplace.

Basic boat operation (Recreational skippers ticket)
Cooking/catering to a basic menu
Cashier & computer literate
Police Clearance
General maintenance
Stripping and making up accommodation to high standard
1st Aid
What we are looking for

experience in care taking and hospitality
robust work ethic works well under pressure
robust time management
clean, neat and tidy in both personally and day to day activities
Employer questions
Your application will include the following questions:
Do you hold a current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate?
Do you have a current Police Check (National Police Certificate) for employment?
Are you available to work outside your usual hours when required? (e.g. weekends, evenings, public holidays)
Do you have customer service experience?
Do you have commercial cleaning experience?
Work Environment
We are seeking for 2 couples and or 2 single persons, 4 people in total. The season starts in September '22 and finishes in June '23. We would like to do a trial for 1 week, showing you how to do everything and what's expected. It is a weekly wage that will be determined in interview. No pets and this required a high level of fitness.
