We are looking for a seasoned Production Software Engineer to join our Sydney team. In this role, you will be instrumental in managing the infrastructure and systems that support our trading operations. Your work will directly contribute to enhancing our trading systems' efficiency, reliability, and overall performance.

What you'd do
Develop and implement solutions using a combination of third-party and proprietary technologies, overseeing the entire process from understanding business needs to deployment and monitoring.
Collaborate closely with team members to facilitate project delivery, providing support in areas such as requirements gathering, architectural design, and implementation.

Requirements
Significant experience in software engineering, especially in designing and deploying systems at scale.
In-depth understanding of software systems and operating environments,



particularly in how distributed applications function in a production setting.
A proactive approach to improving processes, with the ability to simplify complex systems and minimize operational challenges.

Nice to have
Experience with Python programming.
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, configuration management tools, and contemporary web frameworks.
Background in trading or similar high-performance, low-latency environments.

Skills & tools
Proficiency in software engineering principles and practices.
Familiarity with systems architecture and operational workflows.
Experience with automation and standardization in production settings.
