ISM Technical Officer AWS Systems Integration Officer
The occupant of this position is a member of the Operational Technology and Engineering (OTE) Section. The role of the OTE Section is to ensure the development, delivery and operation of measurement equipment and systems meet the Bureau's performance and functional requirements. This includes the following sensors/networks:
Radar and Wind Profilers
Automatic Weather Stations
Flood Warning
Aircraft Based Observations
Proven ability to work within a team workplace.
Demonstrated experience in prioritising and managing numerous concurrent tasks.
Solid communication and liaison skills.
Enthusiasm and drive.
Experience in software (including scripting) development, equipment testing, verification and operationalising and the ability to communicate these outcomes through written procedures/reports, and presentations.
