The role:
You’ll play a key role in maintaining production equipment to maximise uptime and ensure protected, efficient manufacturing operations.
Your responsibilities will include:
Preventative and reactive maintenance on production machinery
Diagnosing and repairing mechanical faults
Equipment installation, upgrades and continuous improvement projects
Working closely with production teams to minimise downtime
Maintaining accurate maintenance records
Following GMP standards and site safety procedures at all times
About you:
Trade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter/Fitter & Turner or equivalent
Previous experience in FMCG, food, beverage, pharmaceutical or other high-volume manufacturing settings
Robust understanding and practical experience working within GMP (Positive Manufacturing Practices) environments
Experience maintaining conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, motors, packaging equipment and automated production lines
Robust fault-finding and problem-solving skills
A proactive attitude with a focus on reliability and continuous improvement
Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards
