Lawyer to Senior Associate (All Levels Considered) | Superannuation & TPD

Gordon Legalisn'tjust a law firm;we'rea team passionate about helping clients navigate complex legal processes with care and clarity. Our Superannuation & TPD practice continues to grow, and we are seeking a Lawyer to Senior Associate to join the team, based in either Melbourne CBD or Sunshine.

You will work across superannuation, life insurance and TPD matters, supporting clients through claims and disputes with funds and insurers.

Key Responsibilities

Advise and represent clients in end-to-end superannuation-related insurance claims, including Total and Permanent Disablement (TPD) claims, income protection, terminal illness and death advantage claims (with supervisionappropriate toyour level)

Take instructions and provide explicit, empathetic advice to clients

Review and interpret policy documents, trust deeds and insurance contracts

Drafthigh-qualitycorrespondence,submissionsand legal documents

Liaise with super funds,insurers, medical professionals,



barristers, defendant solicitors, courts and dispute resolution bodies

Progress matters strategically through dispute resolution and litigation pathways

Negotiating settlements and representing clients in court proceedings

Contribute to teamknowledge-sharingand continuous improvement

Skills & Experience

Admitted solicitor (or eligible for admission)

Experience in superannuation, insurance or TPD matters highly desirable
(or robust PI experience withdemonstratedinterest in this practice area)

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong attention to detail, organisation and time management skills

Able to work independently and collaboratively within a positive and supportive team culture

Tech savvy, adaptable and able to manage competing priorities

Willingness to take initiative and contribute to improving systems and processes
