We are seeking a Senior Developer to join our team at the NSW Department of Customer Service. This position focuses on enhancing our digital services, particularly within the Births, Deaths, and Marriages (BDM) sector. The role requires a blend of technical expertise and team-oriented skills to drive successful project outcomes.

Key facts
Location: Pyrmont, Sydney, Australia
Engagement: Temporary, full time for 2 years
Compensation: $133,348 - $146,945 per year, plus employer superannuation contributions and annual leave loading
Team: Digital and Identity Security Division

What you'll do
Design and implement software solutions to improve digital services for the BDM sector.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with project goals and timelines.

Requirements
A minimum of 5 years of experience in software development.




Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python.
Solid understanding of web technologies and frameworks.
Experience with database management systems and data modeling.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Nice to have
Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
Knowledge of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.

Practical notes
