About the Roles

As a Nurse Unit Manager, you will be responsible for delivering solid clinical and operational leadership within your specialty area. You will oversee the day-to-day management of your unit, ensuring high standards of patient care, staff engagement, and service delivery.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate clinical and operational functions within Dialysis
Provide leadership, mentorship, and support to nursing and multidisciplinary teams
Ensure compliance with clinical governance, safety, and quality standards




Manage staffing levels, rosters, and resource allocation
Drive continuous improvement and patient-centred care initiatives

Essential Requirements
Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
ANMAC recognition/eligibility
Minimum 2 – 3 years’ managerial experience in a healthcare setting
Demonstrated clinical experience in:
Dialysis/Renal (for Dialysis NUM role)
Proven leadership capability in complex clinical environments
