Based in Tomago, this hands‑on role will see you working on large-scale crushing and processing equipment, carrying out preparation, blasting, and industrial spray‑painting duties to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
Surface preparation including masking, cleaning, and abrasive blasting
Industrial spray painting using airless spray equipment
Application of primers, epoxy coatings, and protective coatings
Completing work to specifications and quality standards
Assisting with blasting operations within a blast chamber
Conducting quality checks to ensure a high-standard finish
Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised workshop setting
Essential Requirements
Australian Recognised Trade Qualification in Spray Painting (Industrial or Automotive)
Proven experience operating airless spray-painting equipment
Previous experience in an industrial, manufacturing, heavy equipment, mining, or workshop environment
Solid attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Ability to pass a pre‑employment medical and Drug & Alcohol test
Highly Desirable
Abrasive blasting experience
Forklift Licence
Dogging / Dogman Ticket
Experience working on heavy mobile plant or mining equipment
