About the Role
Keep the depot, trucks, trailers and equipment clean, organised and ready for secure work
Assist with loading and unloading, preloading trailers, and trailer audits under guidance
Progress through structured on-the-job training toward your heavy vehicle licence
Travel with the Leading Hand and experienced drivers to learn preloads and job preparation
Build real depot and driving skills from day one

Essential Requirements
Current Queensland driver licence, with eligibility to progress to a heavy vehicle licence
Reliable, safety-focused and genuinely keen to build a driving career
Physically fit for active, outdoor depot work
Australian working rights

Desirable (or willingness to obtain)
Forklift and loader licence
White Card and load-restraint training

What We Offer
$35.00 flat rate per hour
Guaranteed 40 hours per week + 2 x 30-minute paid breaks daily

After 12 Months You Will Have
Certificate III in Driving Operations
LF/Forklift licence & experience unloading general freight material
Loader ticket & experience unloading general freight material
Stocktaking and stock control management experience
High-level load restraint experience — roofing iron, steel & mesh, trusses, power poles, general freight
Experience with cranes, and truck & trailer lengths, widths and weights
NHVR compliance exposure — fatigue, mass, maintenance
Electronic Work Diary (EWD) & transport systems experience
A real prospect to move into HR Crane truck driving
