A Casual Relief Teacher will enjoy the variety of each day being different; and will provide support across a range of subject areas. You will be welcomed into the College community and guided through established practices and expectations.
Some of the Key Responsibilities of this role will include:
To provide a commitment to Catholic Education and to the safety, wellbeing and protection of children;
To provide students with a rich and engaging educational experience;
Deliver prepared lessons across Year 7 to 12 classes
Support student learning and maintain positive classroom environments
Follow established routines and school procedures
Collaborate with teaching teams and school leadership
Contribute to our caring, faith-centered school community
Key Selection Criteria
Understanding and Commitment to Catholic Identity and Mission;
Current Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration;
Demonstrated high- level knowledge of Victorian Curriculum and the AITSL standards with best practice, evidence-based approaches to teaching and learning;
Evidence of effective strategies for fostering a secure and positive classroom workplace;
Demonstrated ability to be adaptable and adaptable;
Demonstrated ability to quickly build rapport with students and colleagues.
