DNN Pty Ltd is a well-established Carrum Downs-based manufacturer of electrical switchboards supplying electrical wholesalers throughout Australia.
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Fitter / Switchboard Builder and general experienced Factory Hands to join our growing workshop team.
This is a factory-based role in a clean and organised manufacturing environment — not domestic house wiring or construction site work.
About the Role
You will be involved in the assembly and wiring of custom-built electrical switchboards from engineering drawings and schematics and assisting other electrical fitters.
Duties include:
Assembly and wiring of electrical switchboards
Reading and interpreting electrical drawings and schematics
Mounting components and cable management
Busbar assembly and fitting
Testing and fault finding
Maintaining quality workmanship and workshop standards
Working safely within company procedures
About You
To be successful in this role you will ideally have:
at least 3 years of experience in switchboard manufacturing or industrial control panel wiring
Ability to read electrical schematics independently
Strong attention to detail
Positive communication and teamwork skills
Reliable attendance and work ethic
Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing setting
Candidates must have valid Australian work rights
Applicants must hold either an Electrical Fitter Certificate III or an A Grade Electrical Licence, with experience working with electrical switchboards.
