As a Motor Mechanic at shine automotive pty ltd', you will play a vital role in maintaining and repairing a range of vehicles. This full time position is based in Edwardstown SA 5039 and offers the opportunity to work with a dedicated team in a energetic automotive environment.
What you'll be doing
Diagnosing and repairing mechanical faults in a variety of vehicles
You will primarily work on light commercial vehicles
Performing routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tyre rotations, and brake inspections
Using specialised tools and equipment to identify and resolve issues
Maintaining detailed records of work performed and parts used
Providing exceptional customer service and communicating effectively with clients
Adhering to all safety standards and procedures
Collaborating with the wider team to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks
What we're looking for
Relevant trade qualifications in automotive mechanics or a similar field
Certificate III Automotive qualification is required
Several years of experience as a Motor Mechanic, preferably in a workshop or dealership setting
A minimum of 3 years of motor mechanic experience is required
Solid diagnostic and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve complex issues
Proficiency in the use of automotive tools, equipment, and diagnostic software
Excellent communication and customer service skills
A commitment to workplace safety and attention to detail
The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
